Meanwhile, we we announced the publication of the dvds and blu-ray in Spain: May 30. The information comes Avalon's own, which, by Enrique Costa (manager and director of Avalon Distribution Audiovisual), we gave a short interview where we talk a little more about the process they are following the publication of the first season series. After the jump you'll find her.
- For starters, the obvious question "Have you seen the series? - Yes, otherwise we would not have bet so much for the series.Colorado
- Y Do you like it?
"Pretty and look forward to see more and reach the second season.
- your gossiping catalog most of the movies that you post are independent. Why do you stay with the distribution rights to The Walking Dead in our country? "It's a project that we have been following for a long time and appeared in the right place at the right time. It is our great challenge for this year to 2011.
- Seeing the success of the series broadcast on open not seem to fit with the movies that you post ... - There is a moment in the life of a company must take risks and this project is being from the first minute, but I hope we will be worthwhile.
- Congratulations by how quickly the facebook group of fans has grown What led you to create it? - believe to be able to adapt to the times and social networks are very important to us, we want to be around people who purchase our titles as we could be one of them ... we want people to feel part of our work close it, let people know how to get to the DVD editions and Blu-Ray to do ...
- USA While the series is already on sale and no special edition DVD you've decided to post it in this form . Why? - must try offer different editions for different buyers in the series, some want only the series, others prefer to know more, what happens behind the camera and others want to see in HD ... try to please the greatest number of people. We have also been working with PLANET COMICS to offer unique content related to issues around the world. certainly we will be the first country in Europe to launch it on Home Video.
- Rarely in our country cares for the DVD release of a series, and sometimes the prices are excessive for what is in the packs. Be honest do you see normal pay, for example 50 euros for a DVD with only 6 episodes? "That
are decisions of each of the companies, but as direct public if I charge 50 euros for a series of 6 chapters, I expect more, much more, both in content and presentation of the final product and know that is something exclusive.
- Lastly, can you give us some scoop on those packs? "Exact release date perhaps? - Of course. We can confirm you that the issues will go on sale Monday 30 May. Although exclusively may get a week before (from 23 May) through the web fnac.es
Thanks to Mark Henry and Costa for their collaboration.
